Gigs Last Week

Last week was very busy, and I didn't have time to post. Last friday I played at the new Perry's Steakhouse on Cypresswood in Northwest Houston. Less than 10 minutes from my house, which was a major plus! I played jazz with the great pianist Ted Wenglinski and drummer George Weimmer. A very nice place, and we had a great time playing.
Saturday night I played for a huge wedding reception downtown. I played swing jazz with the 18 piece Richard Brown Big Band from 8:30PM till 10:30 during dinner. After that, an R&B band from New Orleans played for dancing
