STUDIO ORCHESTRA THIS WEEK

Hey all--

I hope you are still with us after the last 2 weeks. Unless something goes wrong, I am planning to be there for all classes this week!

LISTENING ASSIGNMENTS: Let's try to get these wrapped up ASAP. If you haven't brought in a song for us to listen to, please bring something in this week or next.

JOURNALS: Obviously I will be adjusting the journal assignment somewhat. Please make sure you get some journal entries into the folder this week.

SONGS: See the previous post for what we will try this week. Monday night class,I am still thinking, but I will have something to try tomorrow night.

STUDIO ORCHESTRA CANCELLED

I am sorry to say that I must cancel all Studio Orchestra classes for the week of March 17-21. A member of my family has been in the hospital, and I need to stay home plus take them to doctor appointments, etc. throughout the week.

I hope to resume the following week, so think of some songs for us to play. You can post them here, or email me. I'll post what I have in mind so far.

Please keep up with your journals. I have read through everything you have written so far, most of your entries are excellent! You can write journal entries on any paper you wish and save them for next week, or email them, or post them here on the blog so everyone can enjoy them.

Please understand that I would not cancel class if I did not have to. Hope to see you next week.

It's SPRING BREAK!! I hope you are making plans to relax and enjoy some time off this week. Sorry that it's not really beach weather around here, but I'm sure you'll find something to do!

Think about some songs you'd like to play  and we'll give them a shot next week .

Thursday class-- I am very sorry that I had to cancel your class again! We had an emergency-- one of my family members is in the hospital. I hope to pick up again after Spring Break. Please relax and enjoy your week.

Tuesday-Thursday Class

ALL CLASSES:

Make sure to bring in one song for us to listen to, and fill out the Listening Assignment Sheet. Place it in the binder when we listen to your song.

You should also be starting your journals, so fill out one Journal sheet per week. Place it in the binder under your last name.
